Everyone living in Jamestown is well aware of the traffic bottleneck at the road construction on Mill Hill.
If your not from here, the construction narrows down the most heavily traveled road in Jamestown to one lane in each direction with a four-way stop at the top of the hill.
Here is what I’ve noticed.
Everytime I’ve driven through this zone, in any direction, the longest line is from the north going up the hill. It seems to me that no matter what time of day or what the situation is the number of people going south, up the hill, is greater and causes a longer delay than the traffic from any of the other three directions.
Which leads me to this question.
At what point do we run out of people north of the construction zone?
